Holiday Bazaars

My next door neighbor and good friend, Dawn, and I go to the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Bazaar every year. It's a delightful ritual we look forward to. We always find treasures for our holiday gift giving and we've come to know many of the vendors from year to year.

This November brought a new vendor. He was selling cast cement lawn ornaments (bird baths, crocodiles, pots, etc.) I bought a beautifully detailed bumble bee; he fits right in the palm of my hand. Dawn came home with a darling pig. If Dad was still at home I would have bought one for him, too (Dad has always had a fondness for pigs...)

Isn't he just darn cute?
