I keep a gratitude book that I try to update daily. Got this idea from Oprah; bless her. In it I list at least five things that I'm grateful for that day. It's never difficult to find reasons to cherish and celebrate the day: a doggie on my lap, a good book, lunch with Mom, hugs from Dad, flowers from Grant.

At work yesterday, Grant fell down a flight of stairs.

He took today off to rest and heal (with help from Aleve!) but otherwise is doing well.

I am very, very grateful.

Yikes! I hope Grant's doing OK. Rough day. Love the gratitude journal idea. My silly equivalent is that when I'm picking the blueberries out of my "Optimum Power" cereal, I am counting my blessings or listing what I'm thankful for.
