I am a huge fan of resurrection fern. On October 15 Margie posted a wonderful tutorial on crocheted acorns. Last year when visiting my dear friend Barbara in Wenatchee I collected a bunch of acorn caps. Armed with a small amount of sock yarn and a size 5 crochet hook I made up a batch. I don't knit socks but fortunately I had two small balls of yarn left over from the socks Peggy made me.
My next trip to visit Barbara in Wenatchee will find me gathering more acorn supplies.
