My friend Barb is a lover of animals, just like St. Frances. The neighbor dogs know this. They sit at the top of the hill behind her house, waiting for an invite. Often there are five (big) dogs in her back yard, getting the love and attention they don't get at home. They live their lives outdoors as "watchdogs." This won't do at Barb's house; all are invited over to to get the companionship they crave. How can you resist those eyes?
